Nintendo SNES Games

"Another obscure SNES title that deserves a second look...or perhaps a first."

This is, in my opinion, the best side scrolling action game on the Super Nintendo. The fun factor is above the scale. The moves you can pull off as Spiderman or Venom are varied, making game play refreshing. While Spiderman is very agile, Venom relies on brute strength, giving options to different types of video game players. The in game enemies are basically the same, but the bosses make up for it. The boss battles are challenging and fun. This isn't a game where you can win by simply pressing random buttons, it takes much more than that. If you get power ups, you can even get famous super heroes to help you stop the new symbiotes from destroying the city! Web swinging in this game is fast and simple, and adds a new meaning to the word "action". The game levels are also varied, from the streets, to roof tops, to the foundation's hidden base, this games level design is outstanding. You can play the game with 2 players making the game cooperative. Spiderman and Venom, an unstoppable team! A more climatic final mission would have been nice, but the game play is still near perfect. Good Job Spiderman!
